Etiquette for Children
Teaching our little ones about appropriate etiquette from an early age comes with many benefits. Through games, songs, stories, and routinely repeated reminders, children can learn an invaluable set of life skills. Applied to everyday situations, these skills will help them be better friends, gain more confidence, and be kinder to themselves and those around them.
Etiquette is centred on the development of emotional intelligence. It teaches us to be selfless and put others first. Even though we can learn the rules and guidelines of etiquette relatively easily, it is far more challenging to put them into practice because, sometimes, our ego gets in the way. Learning etiquette at a young age gives us more time to master these social life skills that make our lives – and the lives of those around us – better.
This course is ideal for children aged 6-12 years old. The course can be taught over a longer period of time, with each topic being covered in its own separate class. Alternatively, classes can be tailored according to what you would like your child to learn – over a shorter timeframe if need be. Etiquette lessons can be held in a classroom full of pupils, during a playdate for a group of friends, or individually. During the course, we will play, practice, and make sure each lesson is fun, interactive, and memorable for all.
